Part 3 of Four Seasons Concert Series at Long Island Children’s Museum

Sonic Escape will be performing “Winter,” the third of 4 concerts that explore the four seasons.  Inspired by the themes of cold, shelter, solitude and reflection, the repertoire will draw from Scandinavian folk and classical music (e.g. Scandinavian Folk Suite, Grieg’s Peer Gynt, Ghost Ship).

Preceding the concert join Sonic Escape in LICM’s “Sound Showers” gallery for some interactive pieces. Children can bring their own instruments to play or join in using instruments from around the world and found objects featured in the gallery.  This performance is part of the New York State Presenters Network Presenter-Artist Partnership Project with support from the New York State Council on the Arts, Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.

Ages: 3 and up.
Fee: $5 with museum Admission ($4 LICM members), $10 theater only.
